What is Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is Acronis's platform for service providers. It brings data protection (backup and recovery), cybersecurity (endpoint, email and sensitive-data protection) and endpoint management into one solution — one agent, one console — instead of a separate antivirus, backup tool and remote-support app.

Acronis sells it through service providers. By Acronis's own figures, more than 21,000 service providers use it to protect over 750,000 businesses worldwide. Our job is to turn that technology into a service: pick the modules you actually need, configure them, run them and report back every month.

Acronis and mitecni.co — FAQs

What does "Acronis Platinum Service Provider" mean?

Platinum is the top tier of the Acronis partner program (Registered, Authorized, Gold, Platinum). "Service provider" means we don't just resell licenses — we run Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud as a service for our clients. You can check our listing in Acronis's partner locator.

Are you Acronis?

No. Acronis makes the technology. mitecni.co is an independent managed IT company based in Colombia that runs it for clients as an Acronis Platinum Service Provider. The contract, support and accountability are ours.

You're based in Colombia. Can you support a US company?

Yes. These services are cloud-delivered and managed remotely, so location doesn't change what you get. We work in English, on Colombia time (UTC-5, one hour behind US Eastern in summer), and serve companies in Colombia and the US. For on-site needs in Miami-Dade, we coordinate partner technicians.

How much does managed Acronis cost?

It depends on how many devices, servers and mailboxes you protect, which modules you choose and how much storage you need. Billing is monthly, per device, mailbox or GB depending on the module. After a 30-minute call we send a written proposal.

We already use Acronis through another provider. Can you take over?

Yes. We review your current setup, plan the handover so nothing goes unprotected, and tell you in writing what we'd change.

We have a different antivirus or backup today. Is switching painful?

Usually not. We switch device by device so nothing is left unprotected, and we keep old backups available while new ones build up.

Can we buy licenses only?

Yes. If your IT team prefers to run the platform, we sell you the Acronis licenses and back you with guidance and support. And if you later want us to operate it, you move to the managed service without changing platforms.
